Terms of Service

Effective date: 18 May 2026 Last updated: 18 May 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of 7awel ("7awel," "we," "us," or "our"). 7awel is operated by 1001493490 Ontario Inc., a company incorporated in Ontario, Canada, doing business as "7awel."

By creating an account or using 7awel, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. What 7awel is

7awel is a technology provider. We build and operate software that gives you access to tools for moving money — between users, and between users and financial institutions or licensed financial partners. We may add further services over time.

To deliver these services, we work with third-party licensed partners in the markets we serve. These partners handle regulated activities such as holding funds, processing deposits, executing payouts, and completing cash withdrawals.

7awel is not a bank, and does not take custody of your funds. We do not hold, control, move, or freeze the money or assets associated with your wallet, and we do not transact on your behalf. We provide the technology; you control your funds. See Section 6 for how wallet recovery works.

2. What 7awel is not

  • We are not a bank, money transmitter of record, or custodian.
  • We do not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.
  • Transfers are executed by licensed, regulated financial partners, so completion and timing depend in part on them (see Section 9).

3. Eligibility

To use 7awel, you must:

  • be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract;
  • provide accurate, current, and complete information;
  • not be a person subject to sanctions, or located in a jurisdiction subject to comprehensive sanctions, that would make your use of 7awel unlawful; and
  • use 7awel only for lawful purposes.

4. Accounts and identity verification

You may need to create an account and complete identity verification (KYC) before using certain features. Verification is performed by us or by our partners. We may decline, limit, or revoke access if verification cannot be completed or if information provided is inaccurate.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.

5. The services

Money movement. 7awel lets you initiate transfers and move funds between users and to or from financial institutions and licensed partners. Cash payout, where offered, is carried out by third-party partners in the destination market.

Technology layer. 7awel uses blockchain-based stablecoin rails as part of its underlying infrastructure. This is a technical implementation detail of how value moves through the system; it does not change the nature of the service described in these Terms.

Recipients. A recipient does not need a 7awel account. As the sender, you are responsible for providing accurate recipient details. You can share a tracking link so the recipient can follow the status of a transfer. Recipients may be required to complete identity verification with a local partner before receiving funds.

Quotes. Before you confirm a transaction, we show you the applicable fees and the amount expected to be received. That quote is final only once you confirm the transaction.

6. Your non-custodial wallet

7awel uses multi-party computation (MPC) wallet technology. In normal use, you control your wallet and you are responsible for keeping your wallet credentials secure.

To help you regain access if you lose your credentials, 7awel holds a recovery credential associated with your wallet. This means 7awel may be able to assist you in restoring access to your wallet. This recovery capability exists solely for your benefit: 7awel does not use your wallet, does not transact with it, and cannot move, control, or freeze your funds. 7awel would act on your wallet only as part of a recovery process you initiate to restore your own access.

If you lose your credentials and recovery is unavailable for any reason, your funds may become permanently inaccessible.

7. Fees

Fees are shown to you before you confirm each transaction. Depending on the transaction, the total may include a service fee and a currency conversion margin. Fees and rates are calculated in real time and are final only at the moment you confirm. We may absorb certain third-party costs and reflect them in our pricing; we do not separately itemize every underlying cost.

8. Your responsibilities and acceptable use

You agree not to use 7awel to:

  • break any law, regulation, or sanctions requirement;
  • launder money, finance illegal activity, or evade sanctions;
  • transact on behalf of an undisclosed third party;
  • provide false information or impersonate another person; or
  • interfere with, probe, or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.

You are responsible for the accuracy of all transaction details, including recipient information.

9. Processing, delays, and rejected transactions

The large majority of transfers process smoothly, and most complete within the timeframe shown in your quote. Transfers are carried out by licensed, regulated financial partners, so completion and timing depend in part on their systems and processing.

Occasionally a transfer may take longer or, less commonly, be rejected — for reasons such as regulatory and compliance checks, partner processing times, destination-country conditions, or incomplete or inaccurate transaction details. In rare cases, conditions in a destination market at the time of sending can affect whether or how a transfer completes.

If something does go wrong, we stay on it. 7awel monitors transfers in progress and works closely with our partners to resolve issues and keep you informed at each step. While we don't control partner systems or destination-market conditions, we work on your behalf to reach the best possible outcome.

10. Risks you accept

By using 7awel, you acknowledge and accept:

  • Blockchain and stablecoin risk. The infrastructure relies on blockchain networks and stablecoins. While we use well-supported stablecoins designed to maintain a stable value, risks remain, including value fluctuation, network disruption, and the freezing of assets by an issuer or other party.
  • Non-custodial risk. You are responsible for your wallet credentials. While 7awel holds a recovery credential that may help restore your access (see Section 6), recovery cannot be guaranteed in all circumstances, and loss of access may result in permanent loss of funds.
  • Transfer risk. Transfers are executed by licensed partners. Most complete as expected, but some may be delayed or rejected, and in rare cases affected by destination-market conditions, as described in Section 9.
  • Currency risk. Exchange rates move; the rate you receive is the rate quoted and confirmed at the time of your transaction.
  • Availability risk. The service, or specific corridors or features, may be unavailable at times.

11. Regulatory status

7awel's operating entity has applied for registration as a Money Services Business with the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada (FINTRAC). That registration is currently pending. 7awel works with licensed partners in the markets it serves.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to 7awel, in whole or in part, at our discretion — including where we suspect fraud or unlawful activity, where required by law, regulation, or a partner, where you breach these Terms, or where we consider it necessary to protect users, partners, or the service. Where reasonable and lawful, we will give you notice. You may stop using 7awel at any time.

13. Disclaimers

7awel is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, 7awel and 1001493490 Ontario Inc. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

7awel's services are provided in exchange for the fees it charges, and its financial liability to you is limited to the total fees you paid to 7awel for the transaction giving rise to the claim. Funds in transit are handled by licensed financial partners; 7awel does not hold those funds and is not the party responsible for their settlement.

Where an issue arises with a transaction, 7awel will, to the extent of its available resources, follow up on the matter and provide you with the information you reasonably need to raise or pursue it directly with the relevant partner. This commitment to assist is provided in good faith. It does not make 7awel responsible or liable for the acts, omissions, or solvency of any partner, and it does not extend 7awel's liability beyond the limit described above.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

15. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless 7awel and 1001493490 Ontario Inc. from claims, losses, and expenses arising out of your use of the service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Your continued use of 7awel after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there.

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of 7awel will be resolved by final and binding arbitration before a single arbitrator. The arbitration will be seated in Ontario, Canada, and conducted in English under applicable Canadian arbitration rules. Judgment on the arbitrator's award may be entered by any court of competent jurisdiction. Either party may still apply to a court for injunctive or equitable relief to protect its rights pending the outcome of arbitration.

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer-protection rights and remedies available to you under the laws of your country of residence, including any right to bring proceedings before your local courts where that right cannot lawfully be waived.
